About Me

Filmmaker & Visual Storyteller. 

Cameron Kostopoulos is a multi award-winning immersive storyteller, and the Founder & CEO of Kost.

He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, with a BFA in Film & Television Production and Future Cinema. He has a Masters of Arts from ASU's Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts in the Narrative & Emerging Media program under Nonny de la Peña, where he was awarded the school's most Outstanding Graduate.

 

After a traumatic outing, he begin building safe spaces for queer communities. In 2023, his XR experience “Body of Mine” won the Special Jury Award at SXSW, a BAFTA Student Award, Best XR at Games for Change, a premiere at Venice International Film Festival, and more. His 2020 student short film “A Mother’s Soliloquy” was shortlisted for the Student Academy Awards.

 
With a multidisciplinary approach to filmmaking,
the overlap between his alternative writing & directing and his technical
expertise frees him to create deeply intimate experiences.
